Eunjin Kim, Ed.D. in Educational Psychology, is an Associate Professor and Deputy Director of the Mind Humanities Institute at Wonkwang University.
Her research interests encompass mind practice (Maum-Gongbu), mindfulness, character education, parent-child relationships, and the development and evaluation of related programs. Dr. Kim has authored over 40 journal articles and published more than 20 mind-related books. Her recent publications include “Effects of the Mind Practice Program on Stress, Mindfulness, and Grateful Disposition in Middle-aged Adults (2025),” “A Qualitative Study on the Experience of Participating in the Mind Practice Program (2024),” “The Impact of Mindful Parenting in Parents with 3 to 4-Year-Old Children on Their Children’s Emotional Regulation: Focusing on the Mediation Effect of Parents’ Psychological Well-Being (2023),” among others.
Currently, she serves as an editorial board member for the Journal of Meditation based Psychological Counseling and the Journal of Welfare and Counseling Education in Korea. Internationally, she is a guest editor for the journal Mindfulness. Furthermore, she is the Chair of the Research Ethics Committee for both Mindful Practice and Meditation Counseling and Humanities Education.
